Since starting my photography career I’ve always known I wanted to create something long lasting and representative of each subject as an individual. As soon as I began experimenting with black and white portraits I knew it was it. To help people photograph the best version of themselves, to be part of the reason why they come out of the photoshoot feeling more confident and to see them in love with the final images reassure me that I am doing what I’m supposed to do.

I have the most fun when I get to interact with my subjects. I empathize with the nerves and always offer guidance and options in posing. It’s a priority for me that I have each person in their most natural and comfortable state first and foremost. Don’t even get me started on babies and toddlers - the best subgroup to photograph due to having little to no self-consciousness!

I love knowing how the portraits have given my clients more reason to love themselves and their loved ones. I live for that response, that moment. That’s what it’s all about. My gift to you is yourself.
